Food Menu

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following a rigorous tender process we are delighted to announce that Aspens have been appointed as the new catering company at St Andrew’s School and have started to supply meals to students and staff since our return to school yesterday.

Aspens provide a wide range of healthy options as well as locally sourced alternatives prepared on site by a skilled catering team. Your child can select from a range of meal options hot or cold, vegetarian or meal deal offer. The main school meals are supplemented with a fantastic new salad bar and freshly made desserts or fruits which are available daily. In addition, the school’s breakfast provision continues to run as normal but has been refreshed to ensure a healthy and fulfilling start for your child in the morning.

In addition to the changes to the menu, we have been fortunate to have new equipment supplied by Aspens including plates and cutlery. Aspens have also painted the diner and kitchen areas to provide a bright, vibrant environment for your child as they eat in the diner, which Aspens have aptly named their “restaurant”.

The feedback from the students has been very positive and many are keen to try some alternative meal options over the coming weeks. Feedback forms will be given to students tomorrow to gather even more “pupil voice” as your child’s opinion helps us to ensure the provision we put in place considers their wants.

To ensure that your child does not miss out on our new great meal provision, please ensure that you keep their Parent Pay account topped up regularly as we cannot provide a meal to students who do not keep their accounts up to date. If you have any difficulties accessing your child’s Parent Pay account, please contact the school office via email: or telephone 020 8686 8306.

Included with this letter is the new weekly menu, which will also be displayed on the school’s website and in the dining hall.

Yours sincerely

Naomi Walters
Director of Business and Financial Management
